Why is this Program Needed?

The Senior’s Morning Program is a program designed for the retired adults over the age of 55 who are looking for a place where they can remain healthy in their Mind, Bodies and Soul.  This is a day program that is local for seniors who may be confined to their environment, but are looking for a local outlet to help them enjoy life.  It was designed for the child who is the care taker for their parent.  It was designed for local seniors and is free and open to the public.  By creating various location within Beaufort Community, our senior citizens have easy access to a facility to encourage their consistency in attendance.  This program will help to reduce isolation and promote socialization within our aging community of the new growing majority population. 

Vision

The Senior Program is designed to enable individuals to continue being an integral part of their community while maintaining a healthy lifestyle in mind, body, and soul.  The goal is to develop creativity, produce new life styles, reduce depression, extend long life and create a place where new relationships can be developed everyday through simple adventures.

Transportation

Senior Day Program is a free Day program for all senior adults within Beaufort County.  To register, please contact the main office for an application. No one will be refused because of race, religion, national origin or financial need. Transportation is available for those patrons who are in need of assistance to local facilities for daily activities.

MEAL DELIVERIES

Home delivery of frozen meals are delivered to your home for support of those who are not able to leave their residence on a permanent or temporary basis.  You must apply for this free assistance.
